Bre Danvers-Kidman

Executive Director
Bre Danvers-Kidman (they/them) is a white, queer, disabled artist, activist, attorney, and survivor who became the first openly nonbinary person in history to run for US Senate in 2020. Bre joined MTN in 2023, bringing years of local organizing and advocacy experience with them. They enjoy performance art, boogie boarding, making friends with unexpected people, and spending time with their spouse (Andie) and cat (Andy).
Maya Williams
Community Care Program Coordinator

Maya Williams is a religious Black multiracial non-binary writer and suicide survivor based out of Portland, Maine. She moved to Maine from North Carolina in 2017 to get her Masters in Social Work with a Certificate in Applied Arts and Social Justice from the University of New England. They have worked in social justice/educational programming, poetry, storytelling, literature, and theater with organizations such as Maine Inside Out, EqualityMaine, Speak About It, Maine Humanities Council, Indigo Arts Alliance, and more.
Kris Pitts

Kris is a white, queer, genderqueer advocate and community builder currently residing on unceded Wabanaki territory. Kris is an educator and social worker by training and has served nonprofits advancing work across spaces including those focused on LGBTQIA2S+ causes, social justice movements, supporting young leaders, primary prevention and crisis intervention efforts related to all forms of human trafficking, exploitation, and interpersonal violence, and experiences of being underhoused or unhoused. Kris loves reading, cosplay, dinosaurs, coffee, kayaking, gaming, hiking, and especially the two best pups in the world, Moxie and Cricket!
Micaela Cassily
Special Projects Manager

Micaela has worked most of her career, over 30 years, as a software engineer. She led project teams in the development of software products, winning awards at trade shows. She has worked for large companies, and she has been a principle in the formation of new startup companies. Micaela also has an extensive training background, having been a high school teacher for 3 years and an adjunct professor at an engineering university. She has also worked for several years as an instructor in tax law. Micaela has been a facilitator at MTN since 2019, and lives with her spouse on the southern seacoast.
